The 10th International Biennale De Danse kicked off in Seychelles

The Seychelles Dance School holds the 2023 International Dance Biennale in collaboration with the National Arts and Crafts Council of the Republic of Seychelles. The current (10th) anniversary season will take place from August 21 to September 2, 2023. This is the first event after a long break since 2017, aiming to create the environment for cultural exchange among dance professionals.

The Rostov-based dance group Bez predela (lit. Without Limit) guided by Ruzanna Kharakhasheva has arrived in Seychelles to participate in the festival. This team is a multiple winner of Grand Prix at a number of national and international competitions. In 2017, the group was awarded the title "people`s".

The theme of the anniversary Biennale is "Water" (fr. L’eau). The program provides for the performance of national dance groups in the modern dance technique prepared as "homework". During their stay in Seychelles, the groups, under the guidance of experienced choreographers, will stage a dance and present it at the Gala concert on September 2.
