The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Seychelles, H.E. Mr. Artem Kozhin,paid a courtesy call on the Principal Secretary of the Foreign Affairs Department,
Ambassador Ian Madeleine, to review ongoing and pending areas of cooperation between the two countries.
During their discussions, the two diplomats expressed satisfaction with the positive momentum in bilateral relations. They referred to ongoing exchanges and initiatives as indicative of the good relations maintained between the two sides.
The meeting also reviewed the steady growth in Russian tourist arrivals to Seychelles, facilitated by Aeroflot’s direct flights between Moscow and Mahé since 2021. Discussions further touched on matters of international concern, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to seek common ground on shared global challenges.
This engagement reflects the continued commitment of both nations to enhancing mutual understanding and cooperation across a wide range of sectors.
